The Evolutionary Priorities of Hunting and Gathering

Mark lost his keys most weeks.  His wallet often want astray.  His desk was a complete disgrace: piles of disorganised papers everywhere.  He spent half his life inanely looking for stuff. But the cakes he could always find straightaway. Wherever Martha hid them, somehow he could always sniff them out.

  1. My favourite memory of my father is his acute ability to lose things and the attendent ‘Bluddy HELL’ that echoed through our house daily as he searched for whatever it was …. cake never eluded him either!
