Albert learns that librarians can sometimes be a bit weird about the whole returning books thing

Albert read the intriguing novella three times but still couldn’t figure it out.  Finally, he returned it.  “You realize this book is twelve years overdue,” the stern librarian said. “Well,” Albert said, “I’d have thought that you, of all people, would understand how you can lose yourself in a book.”

  1. I’m more concerned for his reading speed if in all those years he only finished three times. Poor guy. Maybe suggest a helpful monocle?
